About
Janice received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and her Master of Fine Arts degree from Queens College, City University of New York. She has taught art in a range of academic and community settings and currently conducts adult drawing classes at her studio in Montclair, New Jersey.
Janice has been awarded residencies at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts, as a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Fellow, and at the Millay Colony for the Arts. Her work is distinguished by a keen sense of observation, rhythmic composition, and an understated humor.
Her artwork is included in numerous private collections throughout the United States. She lives and works in Montclair, New Jersey.
